This Policy specifically governs the usage of the information collected by us from any person accessing Our website (User) accessible at slens.co and any associated mobile sites, and/or applications (Platform), which can be accessed by you through any internet-enabled devices inter alia any computer and/or handheld mobile device. This Policy is published in compliance with, inter alia the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and the Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. By accessing the Platform, you confirm to have read and understood the Policy, and grant Us your explicit consent to be bound by it. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, you must cease to access and immediately discontinue the use of the Platform. 

Information Collected by Us

We may also receive information about you, from third party social media applications and plug-ins etc. You understand and agree that when you use any social media application or plug-in, which is owned and/or operated by such third parties, you are subject to policies of such third parties. We urge you to read, understand and then agree to such policies. 
  3. We may be required to disclose and otherwise use your information, where the disclosure of your information is necessary for enforcing any other legal right or claim.
  4. In the event where there is any restructuring, reorganization, merger or sale, or any other form of transfer of assets, We will transfer your information to the third-party so involved in the transaction, only subject to an agreement by the other party in respect to your information, to process and store your information in a manner which is consistent to this Policy.

Your Rights and Your Preferences

At all times, you have the right to access, review or update your information, or request for erasure or correction of your data, or withdraw your consent and restrict Us from processing or to object to processing of your data by Us, to receive communications from us as well as the right to request for transfer of your data (Your Rights) by submitting a written request to Us at contact@slens.co. We reserve the right to refuse your request, upon informing you of Our reason for doing so.
  2. You also acknowledge that deletion of some of these details may result in the cancelation of your registration with the Platform and, or, deletion from Our distribution lists, as such details may be necessary for the enablement and maintenance of your account with Us. 
  3. You may opt in to receive certain communications, including marketing communications and advertisement information, from Us on your registered e-mail address as submitted to Us by you pursuant to your registration with the Platform. If you no longer wish to receive certain communications, including but not related to marketing communications and advertisement information, from us via e-mail you can unsubscribe from such communications by writing to us at contact@slens.co
  4. We will, to the extent possible, notify the third parties to whom your information has been disclosed, in case of any updation, erasure, correction or withdrawal of your information.
  5. You have the right to file complaints regarding processing of your information by Us, before the relevant government authority.

Children

  1. You must be 18 years of age or older to subscribe to the services of the Platform. 
  2. In case any individual under the age of 18 years of age is utilizing the Platform, such usage will be undertaken only with the strict supervision and approval of a parent or a legal guardian or any other person having parental responsibility over the child, and We will not be responsible for the same at any time and in any manner whatsoever.

Data Security

  1. We understand that we must safeguard your information as available with us. We use and employ reasonable and appropriate technical measures, encryption and techniques to protect your information against any unauthorized access, use and unlawful processing. We process all information and data gathered by us in a fair and transparent manner and within the legal framework of applicable laws of the country.
  2. We review all information provided, collected, processed, stored by Us, to prevent unauthorised access to Our systems.
  3. We restrict access to your information to Our employees or service providers which require the information to provide the Service. Such employees and, or, service providers are subject to strict confidentiality and non-disclosure norms. Anyone found guilty of breach of such terms will be subject to strict disciplinary actions and or termination from service.

Data Retention Policy

  1. We retain your information as required and as permitted by the applicable laws or regulations. Reasonable measures are employed to destroy or to remove identifiers in a secure manner when it is no longer required to be retained with us. We store all the data collated and or processed for a term of two years from the date on which the data is collected. On expiry of the said term, the data collected by us will be removed from our records. This time period has been determined to ensure that We are in compliance with the laws as applicable to us. We may exceed the period of retaining your information if explicitly consented to by You or if it so becomes necessary to comply with any applicable law. 

Cookies and Advertising

  1. As mentioned in Paragraph 1(v) of this Policy, We use cookies and other related technologies, as well as several advertising identifiers for several purposes. This is done with the intention and purpose to understand better the users and their preferences. If you do not consent to the use of cookies, or similar technologies by us you may at any time adjust your browser settings and delete or disable such cookies. However, this may affect you experience on Our Platform. 

Changes in the Policy

  1. We may update this Policy from time to time. The previous versions of this Policy will be made available as and when updated on our Platform. We encourage you to review this section periodically and agree to any changes made. If you do not wish to accept any changes made to this Policy, you may cancel your use of our services and the Platform. Your continued use of our Platform constitutes your acceptance of the last version of this Policy.

  1. Identification details, allowing us to address your issues better;
  2. Your address, telephone number or email address, for the purposes of communication; and
  3. Any authorizations which may be required, enabling us to process the information.
