Our approach

Our evaluation studies follow a comprehensive framework to holistically assess an intervention. The behaviour change introduced or instilled by an intervention is evaluated through the Behaviour Change Framework developed by Social Lens. The basic assessment framework is based on the OECD DAC evaluation criteria that includes:

Relevance

The contextual background of the intervention/need in the targeted communities

Coherence

The synergies, interlinkages and overlaps with other similar interventions

Effectiveness

The extent of the intervention's completion of the intended objectives and targets

Efficiency

The extent of resource optimisation in the program structure and delivery

Impact

The short-term, long-term, positive and negative effects generated by the intervention

Sustainability

The extent to which the intervention benefits are expected to continue post exit
