Role and responsibilities
- Manage Capacity Building (CB)/ Organisation development (OD) projects as defined and designated by the CEO
- Develop capacity building solutions, administered through group learning sessions or one-on-one consulting
- Develop standard operating procedures and frameworks for projects and processes, conduct risk analysis and design recommendations
- Development of materials and assignments for the capacity building workshops
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and written reports, analysing research data including operational, financial, and other data
- Tracking, monitoring, and communicating with stakeholders, problem solving for NGOs’ organisational development requirements
- Provide operational support, where necessary, across various projects of the organisation
- Tracking projects and preparing case studies. Conduct follow-up meetings with clients to gauge the success of recommended changes
- End to end data management and maintenance of all dashboards, updation of all MIS trackers in the vertical, maintenance of all external and internal files and trackers and databases
- Analysing data including operational and financial and other data
- Liaison with NGOs, funding partners, and implementing stakeholders
- Conduct Project pre assessment, preparation of project concept notes and overall program coordination as per the Social Lens methodology.
- Developing proposals and writing pitches for potential clients
- Relationship management and networking with potential clients
- Supporting the teams on any events / conferences / white papers and as such as required
- Work on strategy and conceptualization of new initiatives in the firm
- Develop plans, concept notes, incubation components of new programs across the CB/OD, Impact and CSV verticals
- Work closely with the CEO and explore new partnerships and avenues for growth
- Work closely with the CEO including attending meetings with the CEO
- Supporting the communications function where necessary on writing blog posts/social media posts
- Identifying opportunities for new business growth to further the mission of the organisation
Competencies
- Master’s degree – MBA/ MSc / Business Management / International Relations / Public Policy/ Political Science / Economics
- Excellent English communication skills – speaking and writing
- Ability to multi-task and work in tight deadlines
- Advanced MS Excel skills, proficient in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and G-Suite and tech-savvy in general
- Passion for high quality work and attention to detail
- Analytical thinking and great problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Past experience in consulting/ advisory / intermediary organisations / corporate communications
Past experience: 1.5+ years
